MAFA at the Meeting on Materials for Energy Applications in Amazonas

From April 15 to 17, 2024, the Group of Advanced Functional Materials (MAFA) participated in the Meeting on Materials for Energy Applications held in Manaus, Amazonas. Professors Lilian Menezes de Jesus and Michel Venet Zambrano shared their insights as invited speakers, discussing innovative approaches in materials science that could advance energy applications.

Prof. Dr. Lilian Menezes de Jesus presented her lecture titled "Electric Field-Assisted Processing of Materials for Energy Storage Applications." Her discussion focused on the utilization of electric fields in enhancing the fabrication and functionality of materials dedicated to energy storage.

Prof. Dr. Michel Venet Zambrano delivered his talk on "Photo-controlled Lead-free Ferroelectrics for Advanced Technologies." He explored the development and applications of ferroelectric materials that do not contain lead, emphasizing their environmental benefits and technological applications.

The event offered a platform for exchanging ideas with fellow researchers and industry experts, fostering collaborations that bridge the gap between academic research and real-world applications.

MAFA thanks the organizers, especially Prof. Yurimiler Leyet Ruiz, for their excellent organization and hospitality!
